Base Honolulu, on Sand Island, supports Coast Guard cutters and the 14th District, which covers Coast Guard operations across the central and western Pacific, including search-and-rescue and fisheries enforcement over an enormous area of ocean.

Fort Shafter

Fort Shafter, on the edge of Honolulu, is the headquarters installation for U.S. Army Pacific (USARPAC), the Army's senior command for the Indo-Pacific theater. It's a headquarters post rather than a large troop garrison.

Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam

A Navy-led joint base merging historic Pearl Harbor with the Air Force's Hickam Field, JBPHH is headquarters for U.S. Pacific Fleet and Indo-Pacific Command's Hawaii presence, homeporting submarines and surface ships alongside Air Force airlift and fighter units.

Marine Corps Base Hawaii

MCB Hawaii sits on the Mokapu Peninsula on Oahu's windward side and is home to the 3rd Marine Regiment and Marine Aircraft Group 24, along with Osprey and helicopter squadrons. Its beachfront setting on Kaneohe Bay makes it one of the most scenic installations in the Corps.

Schofield Barracks is the largest Army installation in Hawaii and home to the 25th Infantry Division, the Army's dedicated Indo-Pacific light infantry division. It sits in central Oahu between the North Shore and Honolulu.
